James McKee -  Expedition Communications Manager

James brings a wealth of experience to head up communications for the Dare to Dream 2008 team. His engineering background in television has brought him to produce several Olympic and World Cup Games- the biggest sporting events in history.

During an event such as the Olympic Games, James finds his spot in the master control room 'quite exhilarating' as he is one of a handful of people responsible for taking the signals of all live games coverage and distributing each of them to some 235+ television networks representing 99% of the viewing audience of the world. To date, he has completed 5 Olympics and 2 FIFA World Cup Games.

His next project is in Beijing, China for the 2008 Summer Games. From Beijing, James will join the expedition team in Kathmandu and will oversee the remote communications operations which will provide radio, video and satellite coverage for the mountaineers to communicate between themselves, and ultimately the outside world through media outlets such as internet broadcasts, Podcasts, and live TV.

Aside from the Olympics, James is active in climbing, flying and playing in the mountains near his home in Colorado.
